Why does the idea even exist? On its own, it's not an issue but given that we campaign for fair representation and equality before the law devoid of tribal and ethnic sentiments, why does zoning exist?
The reason is simple. We expect our kin in influential positions to be biased towards us and we fully allow it, if we didn't zoning will not be an issue, we'll be talking instead of fairness and equity.
Let's abandon this ridiculous idea and instead demand that our leaders be fair in their dealings.
